Formula to make fruit popsicles
- Fruits: fresh, frozen, canned, and even add dry fruit such as coconut flakes. If using frozen fruits, thaw first.
- Herbs or aromatics to make them pop!
- Liquid or semi-solid liquid — the amount depends on the fruit and some fruit purees don’t need liquid.
- Sugar–depending on the fruit, this is optional. Some fruits are sweet enough.
The formula is simple and the more you make it, you’ll be creating your own flavor combinations. If you like you can add more ingredients such as a vegetable. Try adding vegetable juice such as carrot juice which gives it another sweet flavor.

This is an old photo of peach popsicles, I know…It is a horrible photo. It reminds me of how far I have come with food photography. This pop has peaches, coconut milk, honey, and water.
Prepare fruit popsicles to have them ready for a snack or for desserts. Any fruit can be made into a frosty pop.
I have even made popsicles out of durian fruit, yes! The one fruit that people call the “stinky fruit” because it has the odor of something rotten. Well, you would need to add a little more sugar than usual but it can be possible.
Enjoy and let me know which is your favorite popsicle.
