Honeydew melon juice is here! It is easy to prepare in the morning, just get your blender out to be ready. Summer is coming and the season begins with a lot of fresh fruits. The four ingredients for this fruit juice or “agua fresca” are melon, sparkling mineral water (without flavor), then you will need mint and a splash of lime juice. The flavor refreshes and without sweeteners or adding sugar you will see how tasty it can be.
Easy to prepare with only 4 ingredients.
This melon is a sweet fruit when it’s ripe. But, if you cut it too early, it will lack that sweet taste. Wait until the melon is ripe enough to cut it. This is when the melon changes from a medium white to a yellowish color, then it’s ready to cut. But before you cut it don’t forget to wash and rinse the outside of the melon. Cut, peel and chop into pieces and keep it in the refrigerator if you do not eat it immediately.

I think that if your palate is used to drinking sweetened drinks, this fruit juice might taste a little too simple for you. Give it a try, and see if you like it first. Second, start getting used to drinking beverages without sugar; unless it’s lemonade or tamarind water, then that’s another story. By the way, another drink to try is sun tea.

For this fruit juice, I prefer to use unflavored mineral sparkling waters. The flavored carbonated waters as specified in their labels with natural flavors are too sweet or have this rare synthetic taste for my taste. What about you?
However, those flavored waters can work if you are ready to switch from sodas to water. Well, thank you for reading and here it is, this no-fuss recipe to inspire you to hydrate with the natural flavor of fruits.
Mineral waters or sparkling waters mixed with fruits are excellent to cool you in the summer.
